The idea for this recipe I got on the Web pages of the portal is an Alternative for you. The recipe is written as part of its columns, my dear friend, otherwise the expert and also a great scholar of Ayurveda, Susan Mussiow.
It’s about a chapati bread, unleavened and delicious, very convenient for people who avoid yeast. Buns you can serve with a variety of healthy spreads, one of such is and avocado spread.
Each buns I decorating alfalfa seeds with germs that are extremely rich in minerals and vitamins. The germs I’m bred on the windowsill (about that in another post).
For unleavened buns
• 2 cups flour integral (buy in the webshop)
• 1 cup heljdinog flour (purchased in the online shop)
• 1 cup of plain white flour
• 1 1/3 cups water
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
For the avocado spread
• 1 avocado
• ½ Cup of fresh cow’s milk cheese
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• 2 soup spoons of olive oil (buy in the webshop)
• Himalayan salt (purchased in the online shop), pepper (buy in the webshop)
Mix the flour, salt, and garlic powder in a larger container.
Slowly add water and knead to a fine paste, about 7-10 minutes.
Cover the dough with a damp kitchen towel and let rest for 30 minutes up to a maximum of 2 hours.
Once again knead the dough a few minutes and split it into small balls the size of a walnut (about 30 balls).
Heat the frying pan (comprising a base which does not adhere) on a medium strong fire.
Roll out each ball of dough in the shape of a circle having a diameter of 6-7 cm.
A little grease pan (I’m even grease with coconut oil without the smell) and bake the dough.
When you paste a good warm up, you will get a small white bubbles. Using a spatula, turn the dough out on the other side and continue to bake about 1 or 2 minutes on the other side.
When the dough is roasted will have brown spots.
Fried dough grab the metal clamps and place directly on the light the flame of gas (a few seconds). The batter will be immediately inflate like a balloon. If the dough does not blow up, get it with a fire not to be burned.
Baked buns put on a plate, one to another, and cover with a cloth to keep the heat (otherwise they become tough). Serve hot or warm.
Serve warm buns with avocado paste and enjoy the tastes and scents.
